Engine oil level low light
Hello,
I have a 2003 A4 3.0 quatro, this oil level light has turned on and i still have 3000 more miles to go before I'm due for an oil change... i went to an auto parts which they check my oil and they said i needed a 5w30 synthetic oil so i purchase the best which they recommended Castrol! once i put the oil in the light went off for about 24hrs then it turned on again so i put another bottle! went off and now is on again! i have tripled check the car and i don't have any spots of loosing oil... can someone give me some directions? is getting sooo frustrating.. also i just got change an ECT sensor and i wonder if this got something to do with it... PLEASE HELP! LOL A CHICK WITH NOOOO KNOWLEDGE

Your oil level sensor probably went bad. It is on the bottom of the oil pan so it's easy to get to when you change your oil in 3k. Get the OEM replacement if you can. I bought a cheap aftermarket one, which only worked for a few weeks before giving the same errors as the old sensor. Ended up buying the Audi one after that.
In the meantime, check on your oil level often to make sure there is enough in there.
