I have a 1994 Audi Cabriolet with a 2.0 ABK engine

The Oil Level Light does not light when you turn on the ignition

I have tried the following:

1. Replacing the bulb
2. Swapping out the complete dash console from a donor car

Neither of these fixed the issue. I can confirm that the Oil Pressure Sensor works, as does every other function on the car.

Do anyone have any ideas as to what I should try next?

Are there any engine sensors that should be tested/replaced?

Both my local mechanic and local Audi dealer have no ideas. I'm not keen to drive the car long distances without the benefit of the oil level light being operational.
