exhuast leak

I think its the Catylitic Converter but is that what this braided steel lokking piece is? It has a whole in it, and how do i go about fixing it?

The steel braided piece is called a flex pipe, the cheapest way to fix it is to have an exhaust shop cut it out and weld in a new one.
