I have an 2003 Audi 1.8T, 6speed, FWDwith 58,000 miles. I bought it brand new and had no problems until the last year. I had my first coil go out 6 months ago and had another one go out last month. Ever since I have gotten the first one replaced my car struggles to start. My car starts perfectly cold, it's when I'm stopping and starting more that it take a couple seconds to start, like it's struggling to get gas when i turn the key. I also have an oil leak that my Audi service consultant sais is totally normal for an Audi around my mileage. Any ideas, I want my old baby back?

 

Next time a coil goes out on you replace ALL of them, not just the bad one...

Leaks AREN'T normal, I don't care WHO tells you otherwise.
Did the joker at your Stealership bother to check for trouble codes when you had it in, since it's hesitating? Don't know what the Stealer ratio is in your area but, if possib;e, I'd recommend fnding a different set of clowns to service your car.

At *my* age, memory loss is *normal* too... But, that don't mean I have to accept it, do I? If it's still under warranty make 'em fixit! The leak, the hesitating. PIMP - SLAP them b1tches!!! Or, talk to the service manager, instedda tha wing-nut yu've been dealing with.

Should I replace the 2 I already replaced when another goes out or just the other 2 I haven't replaced? Is $180 to replace a coil normal, thats what I paid at the dealership? And now that my oil leak is sputtering I am going to talk to the service manager next time, I've had too many problems since I went out of warranty at 50k. Thanks.
