Default New B5 Owner minor problems

Hello,

A few months ago i got a great deal from my uncle a A4 B5 from 2000 Facelift, great car.

But latelly i noticed some "stuff"started happening to the car now that the cold is comming.

First, when i start the car in the morning after i drive like 100m and i stop at the stop lights the engine like drops to 400RPM and back a 900 constantly untill i accelerate. Does that for like 15min, untill it get a little warm i guess.
Some ppl said its from the gas. Engine is 1.6i benzine. Any advice?

Second, when any1 sits on the back sits or if i push the back of the car down, the springs, i guess, make a funny squicky noise, like squicky doors.
Is that a concerne, maybe springs are broken or shocks ? I Checked the springs and they look fine, but 1 of them is kinda rusty 1 cm2, its plastic cover got broken.

Another that concerns me is when i have weels turned max right and i turn for a longer distance or i go backwards a weird clacking noise starts. poc poc poc poc poc .... from the weels. No idea about this 1 since i guess its mechanicali guess. Thats the whole thing i hate, i cant determine what is wrong with the car so i can repair. Untill then i cant, pff if only cars could speak.

And any1 got any ideea how to remove left side mirror? Some1 hit in during the night or something, i`m missing the whole plastic cassing and mirror , all thats left is lover plastic and engine :/ . I can get new mirror easily, dunno how to change.

Ty and hope some1 can help me.

+1 ^. Definitely CA bushings, I just replaced a couple of mine and had the same symptoms.

As far as getting the mirror off, I dunno I've never tried. But i'm sure if you do a quick search you'd be able to find a DIY or at least a couple threads on the topic.

Red face ...

ty, i`ll go at a service and check it out, now that i know what to tell the mechanic. Hope it aint expensive. Maybe change shocks and springs but for that i have to wait a little. Hope they last 1-2 more months .

I Got a long road planned in January, 4500km in total, dont want any surprises.

No1 knows whats with the weird engine RMP fallout? Its so anoying, like the engine is about to die.

About the mirror, i found an easier way, i`ll keep the old 1s metal frame and use the new ones plastics and mirror. will fit perfectly, i hope .

Any1 got ideea where i can find my cars collour code? i got all books etc. i need it to paint the mirror ... looked alot but cant find it.
Collour is like a rat grey ...

*Picture is a little big. Only 1 i got with my car lol .

not a bad engine, very silent, some would say its a little small for this car, but my opinion is it can handle it.

Yea , interior is perfect, no flaws or broken stuff etc, only problem is hand brake collour is a little ran out, guess some1 used to put a bag on it Alot.

Found my collour codes:

Paint no. / Interior LY7L/LY7L N4G/ EA .

dunno what the onws in bold are, guess interior, but thenagain there are 2 codes ly7l.
