does ne one kno how to take the grill out of a b5 97 a4? how do i remove the lever that opens up the hood? THANKS for the help

 

theres some clips on the back side of the grill and the lever doesnt need to be removed to take off the grill.

 

so all i have to do is take off the clips? and what kind of tool do u recommend

 

Not those kind of clips. They're little tabs. I used 2 flathead screwdrivers to get mine out. Just be careful not to drop them into the front of the engine bay and keep count of how many you're using.

 

Amen to that. I lost 3 screw-drivers when swapping out my grill.

 

how can you lose 3 screwdrivers in an engine bay taking out a grill? or do you mean 3 clips? if the clips fall is there any you can get them out? around how many are there anymore tips b4 i start? thank you

 

No I mean screwdrivers. It's because you have to push in the clips with a flathead screw drivers, and when you pop out the grill, the screwdrivers fall. It's very easy to get the grill out once you figure out how it works.
