Default GTRS Install - check engine light

I installed ATP's GTRS turbo kit (turbo,manifold,3' downpipe)on my 1999.5 A4. For fueling I bought the Mika tune. I got a check engine light on the start up. The car also dies down whenever the turbo starts to boost.

I only reinserted the MAF sesnsor in the intake piping. Code exlcuding the other sensors cause theissues that I mentioned above?

What are the fault codes? The words "MIKA" probably says it all though.

One of the codes was cylinder misfire. The other one I couldn't find a definition for: It's P1613. The car is running really lean. It idles at 18 to 1 fuel ratio, and is around 13 to 14 on throttle.

Thnx for the reply. I appreciate it.

You should be idling in the 14's. Part throttle will bounce around 13-15. What I initially experienced with the Mika Tune is that it runs absurdly lean towards redline. I switched to a Walbro 255LPH, and although it solved my AFR in the high-revs during WOT, I'm completely off the chart in the midrange. Check out my topic on this same section https://www.audiforums.com/m_737765/tm.htm or my post on the AZ http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=177203My ride pulls well though w/o throwing a CEL. But thefueling needs to be adjusted.

Thnx for the info. We shouldn't take this setting down. It's inexcusable that they're selling a product that will cause catastrophic failurewhile being used as intended. There is no industry that you can get away with this. This is truly the definition of a faulty product, and as such should be fully refundable.

I put the stock MAF back on the car and now it's running rich. The car isn't cutting out anymore, and seems to have stopped shutting off while coming to a stop.
