Default Gurgling noise on startup

Hi,

So I've noticed a "gurgling" noise coming from the back of my A4 after I turn the ignition. I think it only happens when the engine is warm, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

After I start the engine, there's a fluid-sound coming from the back...it usually lasts about 5-10 seconds, then stops. It doesn't change if I rev the engine, or if the car is in drive/reverse. I'm thinking it's some kind of issue with the fuel pump or filter. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks!

I think it's likely your fuel pump kicking things off until your fuel pressure regulator and engine work together to keep the fuel circulating. That's my guess, but someone with more experience should chime in on this one.

Awesome, thanks Jest!

and for the record, I searched before I posted...my bad for using "gurgling" instead of "gargling"
