My blinkers have been sporatic for the past few months. when I turneither signal on, it will blinkmaybe3 times at most before it just goes out; sometimes they dontblink at all!! Also, the "ticking" sound somtimes goes out of control when I signal. It can sometimes last for the duration of the ride. almost sounds likea pen down the teeth of a fine comb over and over.However, when I hit the hazard switch, the lights blink just fine. I just want to knowhow to fix it/ or who to take it to,any ideaof the price for parts + labr.Has anyone had this problem?

 

hazard unit in dash... i think its around 80.00 plus 1.0 hour of labor...if its not covered by warranty

 

mine does that from time to time. blinkers don't work or fog lights or wipers or A/C, but the hazards work. for me it was a fuse in the fuse box on the side of the dash (between the door and the dash) you might wanna check all those out just to be safe.

 

its most likely a 4 way flasher relay , the actual hazard switch control the turn signals, part is about 40 bucks and a half hour labor to install. good luck

 

just get a hazard relay flasher online and install it yourself. there's a tutorial on here. takes 5 minutes maybe. i just did mine. cost me $30 total
