Stereo not working

RE: Stereo not working
fuse box is left of the dash board... between the door... if you open the door there is a flat panel that needs to be removed. it behind there.
if the fuse is good. still pull it out and put it back in. sometimes this resets the radio and allows it to work again. its an indicator of a bad unit and needs to be replaced

Theres also a fuse on the back of the radio itself.. you need a special tool to remove the radio but i've seen that fuse blown before.. sometimes unplugging the radio from the harness and plugging it back in fixes the problem.. you would have to see the dealer for that tho.

RE: Stereo not working
I had the same problem, it was a 99 though (using my VAG and then when i tried to turn the radio on it wouldnt work) fuse wasnt blown, however i just pulled the fuse out and let it sit for like 2 hrs (you could try overnight too idk) and it fired right up.
