Please help!!! My tail lights and head lights work but the warning symbol comes on and makes a beeping noise. DRIVING ME INSANE!!

 

Hello, what warning is comming up?????
I didnt know there is a warning for lights.....
I have an A3 and a while back my break line went and that initiated a very loud buzzer and warning light way before the breaks actually stoped working........i couldnt figure it out.....some warnings maybe for a number of things.....check manual.....then make thourough visual.....
