Default Headlight Question

The car is a B7 S4. And as you may know, it has the bi-xenon self levelling headlamps. After the first few minutes of turning it on, i notice the right head light flickering most notably when coming to a stop. Also, sometimes when the road isnt level (especially on a steep incline/decline) and i switch the lights on, i would usually get a headlamp warning/error prompt.

any insights on these things?

It sounds like you have a bad ignitor on the right side. Isn't this under warranty? Just have the dealer fix it, it shouldn't be a difficult repair.

i see. it should be under warranty since its a CPO and I just bought the car about 4 months ago. but maybe i should add that the flickering goes away after the lights have been turned on for some time. i was thinking maybe it just needs to warm up to temp? Ive never had HID lights before. But I'll have it checked out now that it sounds that its not a normal thing. Thanks for your input.

As long as you are in the united states it doesn't matter which dealership you go to.
