Default heater problems

ok i made a post last week about my heater not working but i have some updated news on it. i replaced me coolant temp sensor today cause my gauge didnt work either. well now my gauge works great but my heater still doesnt work. i have tried getting the air out of the system and it didnt help. but now since i changed my temp sensor, my heater works a little bit. as soon as i turn the heater on it gets hot, but only for litereally 5 or 6 seconds and then it gets cold again. any idea's what could cause that? cause the fact that ot gets hot for a few seconds means that everything is working right? but i dont get why it gets cold then after a little bit.

Default RE: heater problems

Let us know what happened. These Audi climate control systems are problematic. I fluched my heater core and it helped. But, the heater still isn't very hot. I didn't backflush it though. I might try using a water pump to pumping water thru it backwards with some cooling system flush. Any other ideas?

in most cases its the vacuum pipe to the flap due to passenger siting too close to the dash they tend to dislodge the pipe

is the vacuum pipe going to be visible without removing anything? do i need to take out the glovebox or anything else to be able to see the vacuum pipe for the flap?? is it going to be an actual vacuum line or is it going to be more like the size of a heater hose?
