My wife and I just purchased a beautiful A4 used from a local Nissan Dealer. It has 75,000 miles. We've never owned an Audi, nice car though. After 25 miles the CEL came on. Long story short, the code is p0722, Output Speed Sensor. The Audi dealer says we need a TCM for $2000! Can anyone shed some light on this. We are planning a week long road trip next week. Can we drive the car? What are the repair options?

if you just bought it from a dealer, standard used car warranty is 30 days. call up service and bring it in and have them deal with it.

 

We are working with the dealer but it's like pulling teeth.

 

keep pushing. if something went wrong after 25 miles, that's not OK.
