Default Help on estimate...

Hi, 2000 A4 Quattro wagon. The fan belt came off and ripped out wires. Now mech says reason was a bad bearing on what looks to me like a tensioner pulley. The pulley is on the upper right looking at the engine from the front. He says the bearing wore out and allowed the belt to jump off track. The belt then ripped into the wiring harness. Here is the estimate..

Fan Bearing Idler assembly..$420
Alt Belt $20
Aux Fan $380
Aux Fan harness/ac harness $210
labor $600

It seems to me that the bearing should be able to be replaced in the idler pulley right? And the aux fan, I see listed on the web for $150?

Any ideas?
