Help picking out air compressor for the garage
I need an air compressor to run an impact for dealing with my suspension sometime this spring. Any suggestions? I want to buy something that is going to be able to provide me with enough power.
There is a Husky (homedepot) one that I can get for $179(clearance) - 13 gallon, 3.8 SCFM @ 90 and it comes with a whole kit of tools. Is this going to be enough to run an impact? It lists that its good for an Impact as "occasional use" on the box.
Not looking to spend more that $300 max, so please link to any other suggestions you can think of.

First determine the requirements of the air tools you have or are going to buy and size the compressor accordingly. Mines got a 100 gallon tank with a 7 horsepower motor and puts out 23 CFM @ 120 lbs. It was originally sized for part time sand blasting when I restored muscle cars.
Good Luck...
