Default How do I pull out the rear output shaft from the trans?

I need a rear output shaft for a project car that uses the quattro torsen transfer unit. Torsen says that all the rear output shafts from 88->current are the same. I'm looking at an 1988 Audi 90 Quattro in a salvage yard. Should the output shaft pop out with a pry bar, or is there more to it? I cut the drive shaft and forward part of the shaft doesn't seem to want to dissengage from the flange. I don't want to beat on it for fear of damaging it.

Thanks.

you got all of the screws out that connect the driveshaft to the trans. It should just pull back and out.
