not my checkengine light thats been on due to a sensor in my egr valve or small vaccuum leak !! it says oil under my tachometer or o1L which from the manual means oil service which i did 2k ago how to i reset it with out have to connect a scanner obd2

you should just be able to un-hook one side of your battery and leave it un-hooked for about 10 minutes or so andthen hook it back up. this will cause your car to go back to stock settings and should get rid of any check engine/oil light. if there is really something wrong, the light(s) should come back on, but if not, it should stay off.

if it just says service oil, then it is just a timer, it says in your manual how to turn it off, i believe you have to have the engine with the key in the ignition and use the two ***** on the display, not sure in what order tho

yea thats pretty much it... depending on the platform decides which two buttons... then turn on IGN... it is in your Owners Manual aswell.
