How do I remove plastic insert at the front grill that holds license plate on my Q7? (See pic below) I bought the replacement insert that does not have license plate area with holes.

Nevermind.... got it...

 

So you found out there not much holding it on but some clips. It takes more force than youd expect to pry it off.

 

Yep, I was afraid that I may break it off by applying too much force butI was able to remove it with a help of flathead screwdriver.

Btw, the car looks so much better now....
