Hi to everyone,
the instrumental panel between speedometer and RPM meter has small red display, which is showing system messages, radio stations, names of songs and other ...

In my display some lines are not working/dead, which makes the display kind of not look nice. IT's no big deal but I would still like to fix it if there is inexpensive way. I do not plan invest in it more then couple tens of dollars, unless I find out something else is affected too.

Any advice would be nice. Thanks !!

 

one comment- I remember it happened one day last winter when the outside temperature was really cold. Also the broken lines in display seem to fluctuate- sometimes certain one is out then later another one, wierd.... thanks

 

yep it will happen to all eventually I work at a dealer so I've never seen just the bulbs being replaced if theyb are replaceable we just put new clusters in all the time

 

clconversion- do you think it's just a cosmetical thing or some other functionality is also affected. Would you recommend replacement and how much roughly parts and labor at dealer?

o for sure it is just a cosmetic thing u can also turn that screen off there is abutton underneath the wiper arm switch

they change the complete unit there with the spedo and tach its all one unit

if you really want it fixed why not just get a good panel for 50-150 online and put it in yourself, there is quite literally 2 screws you need to remove to take the thing out.
