I just got a 99 Audi a4 1.8 turbo. The abs light is on and the airbag light is on. The light for the e brake flashes also. The guy i got i from said he took it too the dealership and they said the abs light was a sensor that you replace when you replace the brake pads.

 

Anyways my question is wheather or not that is right and what the lights could be.

 

If the ABS light is on and the e-brake light is also flashing, I'm almost 100% sure that it's your ABS module that has failed. I've seen that alot and the only way to fix it is to buy an ABS repair kit that only repairs the module part of your ABS unit.
