Default Just a gripe......

I've had my 96 A4 for a couple of weeks so far and I couldn't be happier. Except that is when I got in the car with a beverage. The two little depress little thing-a-ma-bobs by the e-brake are it? Are you kidding me? I know American Soccer moms are the reason new cars have like 20 cup holders, but couldn't they fashion something a little more substantial.

Excuse the rant......I guess what I'm getting at is has anyone rigged up some thing that looks descent. I have a feeling I'm on my own here.

yeah this pisses me off too lol, I only have used them once, right when I took a turn I spilled my drink (thus retiring my cupholders). Actually what i've found to work it under the center console, lift it up a bit and put the drink under, then put it back down. works well for pretty much any size cup.
