I have recently purchased a MK 1 TT which had a pixilated LCD which I discovered is a common issue, I purchased a replacement via EBay had it professionally replaced, when I reinstalled the dash I have numerous problems, the dash lights don’t work, the car starts then stops, I spoke with repairer and he believes the vehicle needs to sit for a while so the ecu can load up and recognise the new LCD, has anyone heard of such a theory?
