Would just like to say I have had my audi a3 1.9tdi for a few months and me and my partner absolutely love it!

My query is the service schedule..

On the dash the service is not due for another 13000 miles/455 days, the service history book shows the service has been done every 2 years. The first service is ticked as a lifelong service the final 2 services are ticked as inspection service.

I'm under the impression the service is not due until the dash tells me too! But if an inspection service is meant to be be done every 12 months/10000miles this is contradicting information right, can someone point me in the right direction here?

I am also tempted to make earlier oil changes, 2years seems a lifetime...
