Default misfire detected on cylinder #1

Okay here's the scenario, one day my car went into limp, ruff idle with flashing CEL. I swapped around a new coil pack in every cylinderand nothing changed. By the way it's a 99.5 1.8T fwd tiptronic. I purchased a cheap code reader and as suspected it said misfire detected, the following code told me cylinder #1 was the bad cylinder. I tried swapping coil pack#4 with #1, no change it still said cylinder #1 even after I cleared the codes. So if it's not a bad coil pack what else could possible cause these symptoms? Thanx in advance

Most likely a bad ignition control module on the airbox. Could also be a bad injector or a mechanical problem with the engine compression.
