I know it is not recommended to mis tire sets with quatro, but I only realised today that I have 4 continental tires, but 2x contiextreme contact and 2x contipro contact.
The extreme is a directional pattern and the pro is a traditional pattern.

The muppet that hadd the wheels off last obviously didn't realise, so threw them on and ended up with one directional tread on front right and one on rear left, thank goodness they are at least going the right rotation!

So, anyone else with quatro ran slightly different tires fornt to rear?
You have any problems?

I will look into replacing the more worn 2 (extremes) to make a set but if it's not a disaster waiting to happen, I'll get to it over the next 1000 miles or so.

 

Yeah i bought my car about a month ago, and it had all 4 different tires on it. It runs fine, and no shake or wabble at all. But they are all worn out, and im getting new ones really soon. But overall, no shake or bad ride.
