Default Name This Coolant Pipe! A4 1.8t

Customer has a coolant leaking 2001 a4 1.8 turbo fwd.

He sent me this very clear picture of where it is leaking from.

I recognize this as behind the alternator on the block next to the t stat housing.

It looks like there should be a tab that goes up to where what looks like a broken bolt is to hold the pipe in place.

What is the part number or name of this coolant pipe? I have not seen the car physically so I am having trouble finding what pipe it may be.

I will be replacing t stat housing and t stat at same time since its right there.

Is it this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/01-AUDI-A4-RADIATOR-COOLING-HOSE-PIPE-/160655414804?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2567cf1614&vxp=mtr?

Thanks for any help!

no its not that one....

but your right on its location...

have whoever it is send another pic more zoomed out... because that pipe gets replaced with the notorious rhino plug in 2002.

This is off a ebay parts place

#21?

this kinda looks like it but I don't see that small side outlet on clients car.

Need to figure this out! I guess I need to determine exactly which head was used? Should be AWM engine right?

Damn these vw's and audi's using so many combos, finding a alternator for a 99 passat 1.8t was a nightmare.

help?

So I had him confirm, this is a metal pipe.

I should just need the o rings, are they the same size for all pipes generally?

Do I really need to do the t stat housing or just the gasket?
