I have a 2005.5 B7 A4 with the RNS-E and I think I need to update it. Whatever algorithm it is using to chose the routes is terrible. I optimized the routes, and it still gives me bad routes at times. I have the 2005 maps; if I update to a newer disk, will that improve the routes? Even if they don't I still want to update my maps. I spoke with my dealership and they said the disks are a ridiculous amount of money, but you can get them for much cheaper on eBay. Should I look for the newest (highest) version? If so, what is the highest version. I tried to look for a relevant thread, but could not find one so forgive me, and please insert a link, if there is one.
