Need Feedback
I currently own a 2002 A6 2.7T with an extended warrantee that expires in July 2008. Last week after a heavy rain storm, I found my carwith 10 gallons of water in the passager seat. The problem was, IMO a common issue or design flaw with this car, the frontwindshild drain plugs clogged and waterleaked through the pollen filter. After cleaning and resolving this mess, I'm now having transmittion problems. The deal has informed me thatissue is the transmittion modulelocated inunder the passager seat.
Ok, so heres the issue.... Dealer is telling me that water damage is not covered under the warrantee and those plugs should have been maintained... What do you guys think? BTW, the repair will cost me over 2k if not covered...
Here issome more information, 1 - Owner Manual orRecommend Service Checks never mentionthese drains. 2- Audi is the only one I have let work on this car and they neverrecommended cleaning.

RE: Need Feedback
if its just the TCU why not just buy one for 200 and put it in yourself, and then fix the plugs with a cheap solution. ive noticed AoA is a **** when it comes to these things, so you pretty much f@$#ed unless you get a lawyer involved like most of the guys here when they getsludge or failed T-belt component.
