Default Need help with part

Hi Forum,
I have a water leak and I don't know the name or number of the part.
This is for a 1996 Audi A6 Quattro. Independant wants $600 for a replacement.
All hoses and the heater core have been replaced. This is the last leak (for now).

It's the metal pile that is rusty.

Thanks,
Adil

Thanks Matasci, that is encouraging.
I was going to research the price on line but I don't know what it is called.
also I was wondering if someone has R&R instructions. Specifically, can I remove all pipes without removing the intake manifold?

Did anyone ever do this job? I am trying to determine if there is enough room behind the engine to remove the tubes without having to remove the intake manifold. Alternatively, if someone has removed the intake, what effort is that?
Thanks,
Adil
