i have a little green audi cabriolet i bought last summer. shes been fine until recently. currently i have an issue where the fan will not stop after the car has been shut off. the fan just goes until the battery dies. i just pulled the fuse for the fan, but now its hot and the car over heated yesterday. got the car home and she seemed fine. but i really need to find a way to get the fan to kick off with the car. my friend said something about dropping the steering column and tapping a wire to the ignition so the fan shuts off with the car, but that doesn't sound very safe to me. any pointers?
