New member, questions about a 1994 Cabriolet
Hi everyone. I'm new here, but been a member over at bimmerforums for some time, hope this site is as helpful as bfc has been.
I have questions concerning my sisters 94 cabriolet. She is having several issues that will need addressed in the future.
Background: Car has 114k on the clock, automatic tranny and it is suffering from a bad heater core thats leaking coolant into the driver side of the cabin. She tells me the mechanic also said it's acquired several oil leaks, and she has also taken it to a few mechanics and no one can seem to align the car properly.
I just moved down to where she's livin in NC, Atlantic beach. It looks like she's going to buy a new Corolla, but the dealership only wants to give her a grand for the Audi as a trade in. So I figured I would see what I can do to fix the heater core and oil leaks and find someone reliable to align it right.
I should mention that I have some experience wrenching, although most of it has been with the help of awesome knowledgeable friends. I put together a 94 BMW 318is, it needed the full drive train, interior, it had pretty much been stripped except for the suspension. I've also parted out another BMW, so I'm not completely inept, but could uses some coaching if anyone has the time and patience to lead me to some info.
Thanks a million.
