Hello all,

Just got my A6 a few days ago and it did not come with a manual. I bought one off Ebay and waiting for it.. My question is when I open my drivers side door and look down there is a button with a car on it and another what looks like it should be a button but may have came off, what is the car button and should there be another button and if so what is it?

Also, my A6 did not come with the cold weather package so my question would be are all cars wired for heated seats and I could just purchase a kit or off a Audi getting parted out?

Welcome to this forum. You are right, there are 2 buttons on the drivers door jamb, one is the trunk release and the top one is to disable the interior motion sensor. This is used when you lock the car with a person/pet in the car, so the motion sensor does not go off.
The wiring for the heated seats are probably already there, but the heater/AC control unit is also different.

 

Great! Thanks for the response. I guess I will have to find the trunk release cover cause its missing. Any ideas on where to get one?
