Default New Quattro Systems

Since (I'm guessing) that the quattro systems in new Audis are all controlled by a Haldex center diff, is it possible to control the torque split between the front and rear axles a-la Subaru STi? It stands to reason that an electronic system can be overridden.

Default RE: New Quattro Systems

Only the tt and the a3 use the haldex control unit which is just an fwd system disguied as awd. The haldex control unit can be reprogramed for more aggresive handling. All the other cars still use the quattro awd system that uses hard parts to control torque. Only way to adjust the quattro is to replace hard parts. But why mess with the best.
