Ok, Just bought an 04 Audi A4 1.8t. Im new to the foreign car deal as I have been buying american cars all my life. So I was checking all the fluids and noticed the P/S fluid was low, went to the parts store and the guy told me Lucas oil was fine. I poured the stuff in and then decided to investigate (Im stupid shouldve checked first). So my question is, how long do I have before it starts to swell the seals? Im on vacation out of town and plan on sucking out the fluid with a turkey baister and refilling with the OE stuff. Before you guys say do a search, I did! Just didnt see a time frame for damage using the wrong fluid. I put the fluid in on Saturday 11/20. Thanks for the replies!!!
