I was wondering if anyone new how to test the ignition control module on a 1997 Audi a4 2.8 Quattro I have power coming through the coil wire to the icm but not the other side that I believe comes from the ecu. I have no spark and no pulse at the injectors crank sensor replaced,cam sensor replaced,fuel pump good coil,new spark plugs,good wires good,ignition switch replaced.The weird thing is every once and a great while it will start and run fine which tells me all these sensors are good.But if I turn it off it may not start for a month then out of the blue it starts any help would be great. At this point I'm thinking its the ecu that is working very intermittent. I have ordered a vag com should be here soon but was looking for any answers in the mean time.
