Repost from the A6 forum, but looking for more traffic and quick info......the test drive is tomorrow!

The wife is looking at a 2002 A6 Quattro 3.0 w/less than 40K on the clock. Anything I need to know about the 3.0? Reliability issues? Apparently coil packs are a known defect, is Audi still replacing them for free?

 

Dontthink the coils are free. They also have cat issues. Those are covered for like 7y 80k miles. I would get the vehicle inspected before you purchase it.
