Default Noob question (I promised I searched )

Bought a new A3 2.0 dsg. >500 miles. When in sport mode between shifts under accel.there is a strange noise. Hard to describe. Kind of a bump sound...from rear of car near exhaust. I dont remember the GTI I test drove making this noise. Not a rattle but more like air trying to escape. Or being kept from escaping. Dont notice too much with roof open or windows down. But closed up it does make a funny sound ....only for a split second.....only betweenshifts. This is my first turbo in a gas engine....Before I take it back to dealer I thought I wolud ask here. If its normal I can deal with it.....just dont want seem like a jerk at the dealer.....Thanks in advance for any help I love this site

Cant recall ever hearing that noise as normal. There was a bullitin about a noise somewhat similar to that. Something with the fuel lines or evap purge line hitting eachother. May not apply to that particular vehicle thou.
