Hi. I tried to google it. Spent many hours with no luck. I'm trying to establish if my audi A3 UK (Septemer 1998) is obd2 compliant and what protocol it uses. Could anyone help please? Thanks. Slaw.

 

Hi ODB2 came in, in the US at the end of 95. So I would say your car should be ODB2. The connector socket should be a rectangle shape about 5cm x 2cm with one corner sticking out a little. ODB1's connector is wider and thinner.
