Default Obd2

Hey ....I failed inspection because the MV computer couldnt connect to the OBD2 computer in my car. I just had my car scanned with VagCom and the guy took off all codes that he found on my car. I'm not sure if he found anything with the OBD2 ...would that have even shown up or is the OBD2 computer just a separate issue? I'm afraid to go back and have it inspected because I heard you get a ticket for failing 3 times and I already went twice .

Does anyone have any advice to give me. ?? Thanks in advance!

P.S. The faults found are my abs light thats on and the 17831 was a flex pipe that I had replaced.

were the codes cleared right before you went for the emissions test? ifso this would cause the issue you have experienced. if you can, drive around for a bit and hook up the vag com cable-> go to module 1(engine)> check the readyness option while the engine is running. if they say passed then your fine. depending on your state you can have 1 failed or incomplete.

About 30-40 miles. Replace o2 sensor and see if that fixes the o2 readiness. You can pass with the evap incomplete.

What state are you in? I know in some states such as PA you can pass if mil is off and 2 readiness failed/incomplete
