sounds like you possibly have a bad ABS module, unplug your ABS module and rescan it.
it should read.. if that is your problem

Installing an aftermarket deck improperly could also cause this, or a damaged cluster. Pull the cluster, ABS and radio fuses one by one and see if you can connect.

right next to your washer fluid tank there is the abs mechanical unit and attacked to it is the module. you should see all the brake lines running to it. it should be a black conector harness..
are you familar with Audi electrical connections?. there is a tab you have to pull out.. it slides towards the front bumper, then the connctor should come right off.

are you talking about your ecm or the abs module?
i would n try to repair an ecm.... thats something i would say you have to buy a new one or a known good used one.
you can buy rebuild kits for your abs module.
but it depends if the actual abs unit is bad or if the module is bad.

the rebuild kit is a new module you just bolt up to your abs unit they are like $800

i dont know of any after market companies make repair kits for them or not.
