Hey all, I just bought a 97 audi a4 from a guy, it was wrecked, but minor damage. anyway, i got it home and did some work, trying to get it running, and i ask my mechanic to plug into the computer to get a dignostic on it..... well.... theres no obdII port to plug the computer into for a reading... which is making sense now because the guy said the car had 59k miles on it, which is what the odometer read. Anyway, im now figuring they chopped the car, and ive been screwerd and the car has probably 250k miles on it.. wondering if i can make the best of a bad situation and install a new obdII sensor and reprogram the thing.. the car runs for about 5 seconds, then turns off like clock work every single time; audi dealer thought it was probably because the computer needed to be reset of synched correctly.... please advise.. thanks
