How hard is it change the valve seals in a 2.8 V6 12v?

its a full head strip down if you dont have a pressure pump to hold the valves up while you remove the valve springs to get to the seals and then you need the tool to compress the valve springs while the head is in place, a lot of work[:@].

I have a friend that has a air compressor and has some knowledge but I cant find a write up for how its done. Can you post a little write on it for how it is to be done? I called around and I was told by a Audi/VW well known shop in my area and the worst case senario was about $400 for head to removed and about $140 for the what you talked about but, I would like to do this with some help so I can learn something new and feel better about it plus save some money. Thanks again.

 

its not a begginers task i would recommend for someone...

 

I figured so...just made a appt. to get it worked on at a very good shop.
