Default Oil leakage.... need help

Ok so I have a 96 A4 2.8QM and its leaking a pretty good amount of oil.

So I dropped the pan the other day and replaced the gasket figuring that would solve the problem, but today I noticed a puddle under my car, looked under it when the car isnt running and its not leaking, but when it is on it seems to be leaking at a good pace.

Looks like its leaking from the drivers side of the oil pan, right behind the oil filter almost, I can't figure out what it would be.

Any help would be great.

Thank You

Check behind the valve covers, also check the half moon cam adjuster seals. The cam adjuster in on the front of the head on the driver's side, and the back of the head on the passenger's. Its directly under the valve cover gasket. Use a mirror or feel around the valve cover gasket area and see if you can find oil. If NO oil is present (not likely) then you probably have a leak at the upper oil pan which is hell on earth to change out unless you know what you are doing. 8+ hour repair.

Also, check the oil cooler.. there's an o-ring thats prone to leaking... Try pulling the filter then tightening the nut you see on the threaded portion. Just snug it up. If its snug already, take it off, pull the cooler, and replace the o-ring.
