Overheating engine
I have an A6 1998 2.8 Quatro. The engine suddenly started to overheat. There is plenty of coolant in the system. At the same time the air conditioner malfunctions intermittently.
I was driving and noticed my air conditioner was not giving out cool air. Then a few warning symbols came up. After looking in the audi book I noticed that one symbol means "Engine coolant level is too low/Engine temperature is too high." The other symbol means "Engine oil pressure is too low." These 2 symbols keep beeping while I drive. Not sure if this matters, but it has been raining continuously the last week and I have been driving through huge puddles. There is plenty of oil in the engine, too.
