Unhappy P0190 Fuel Rail Sensor Error - Where is the sensor?

Hi,

I have a 2005 Audi A6 3.0 V6 with 82,000. The engine light has been on for a week and has been very jerky while driving at times. In some cases stalling 30secs after starting...But I can normally get it up and running again. Almost seems weather related...It's been under 30 degrees in IN for over 2 months now.

Finally had time to pull codes and got a P0190 - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor (A) error.

I can't find the part locally and not going to get bent over at a service center.

Found these - GenuineŽ - Audi A6 2005 Fuel Pressure Sensor

Seems like there are 2 types but not sure what the difference is apart from price in the options box.

My question is which one is the right part and where is the sensor located in the engine bay....And how easy is it to replace?

Thanks
