I brought my car to the shop and got my fuel injector fixed. He told me I had 5 cylinder misfires. I bought a set of 5 coils, fixed them with my friend. Then i bought a scanner online to check the computer myself. The misfires for the cylinders still come up is that because after I fix it you must erase them on the scanner ? Also this came up on my computer as well "Exhaust gas tempature to short 1 to ground" < what does that mean? Last ? my car makes a kind of ticking noise in second gear and maybe in others too. real small tick tick sound . any idea what it is ? I have searched the forums and come up with nothing. Thank you very much in advance for any response.....

exhaust gas temp short 1 to ground means you have a bad egt sensor, a possible cause to your misfires
