I have a 2004 A4 cabriolet which the the radio reception is very bad. I brought it to the dealer and they claimed that there was a break in the antenna line and that it would be over a $1000 to repair. So I tried have my radio guy just plug in an aftermarket antenna into the factory bose radio but the reception only got a little better. Any thoughts on how to fix and/or make the aftermarket antenna system work?
