I have a 2006 A6 model and need to top up the power steering fluid , the book recommends mineral oil , how do I see that when I buy it at the spares shop.

 

I found the mineral oil I need at O'Reilly's Auto Parts. The brand name is Pentosin (or Pentocin, something like that). It comes in a green metal can. Ask them to do a search by your model and they should be able to help. It's about 25 bucks a can, just a heads up.
