power steering fluid

What should i use for power steering fluid? If its low does it mean theres a leak cause its making a squeeking sound cause its low?

Buy it from a VW or Audi dealer. You can't use the stuff
other cars use.

The factory powersteering fluid is mineral based, which means it evaporates over time. Just get the factory stuff and top it off as needed.

I have a 98 A6 Wagon C4. calls for G00-2000 steering fluid, Got G-004-012 from VW dealer. Just wondering if this is the same before I top-off the reservoir?
